Elite individual skills development sessions from September 2025 to April 2026 run by Luca Byrne.
Our program will be run during the majority of the school year with an emphasis on individual skill development.
When : September 2025 to April 2026
How many times per week : Mondays and Tuesdays*could be different on weeks with PD days or Holidays
What time : 7h00 to 8h00 AM
Where : Aréna Frank-Robinson
How much : 2450$.
A 400$ deposit is required to guarantee your spot.
*A financial contract will be given with payment amounts and dates when the spot will be confirmed.
For who : M11-M13-M15 AAA-AA-BB
Can A level players be a part of the program? Yes, but we will prioritize AAA-AA-BB as our sessions will be more advanced. If your child is an A level skater, he will be put on the waiting list.
Will goalies be accepted in the program? That will be determined at a later date, please inquire with us if you are interested.
Lead Instructor : Luca Byrne
Since 2013, Luca has been an impact coach in the Gatineau-Ottawa region with a competitive, calm and positive outlook. From 2018 to 2025, he was an Assistant Technical Director sport-études Hockey program of the Gatineau Intrépide Midget AAA Inc. He is currently the assistant coach of the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees and previously coached at the M13|M15|M18 AAA for Intrépide de l'Outaouais. Being certified as a skills coach at the national level with Hockey Canada, the program will benefit from high-level skills coaching and thus the players will profit from the upmost professional teaching available across the nation.
With an expertise in teaching the various technical, tactical and psychological aspects of field hockey, Luca runs a field hockey school focused on personal development, not only on the sporting aspect but also on the mental aspect.

Puck handling
Deking
Shooting
Passing and receiving a pass
Puck protection
Rush situations
Offensive zone situations
Position specific exercices for Forwards and Defensemen
